Tell Me When I'm Dizzy is an endearing story about a game that the author's friend, and her friend's grandson, played when he was very young. The grandson would raise his arms straight out to his sides and spin around, and around, calling out to his Grandma Em, "Tell me when I'm dizzy Grandma, tell me when I'm dizzy!" Grandma Em would then call out, "You're dizzy Michael," and they would both fall, laughing, onto Grandma's soft rug. Michael is celebrating his fourth birthday with lots of his friends, many special gifts, and his favorite chocolate cake. After the party, and his friends have all gone home, his Grandma Em has a wonderful and unexpected surprise for him.

Biography :
Kathryn Everett Singleton grew up enjoying reading and putting her own words together in rhyme and in short stories. Her written words became a way of expression throughout her early years, and she continued to enjoy writing through her high school years as well. Her senior high school English teacher was a poet, and a role model for all of her students. She made a definite impression on Kathryn and increased her desire to write.
After graduation from high school, and followed by nursing school, there was very little time for writing, but the desire was still there. The occasional poem would be written on a piece of scratch paper and saved for another opportunity to add to what she had already written.
After her nursing school graduation, Kathryn and her high school sweetheart were married and writing became less for lack of time. Her duties as a pediatric nurse, and a wife consumed most of her days. Soon their family increased , and there were two active sons. Even though there was little time for writing, she always enjoyed reading to her children.
Their boys grew up, and with an empty nest there was, again, more time to spend on her love for putting written words together, whether a poem or just a story from her childhood. With her background in pediatrics, and raising two sons, she has notebooks full of her stories and poems. Now, with three grandchildren, there are even more words to express than ever. She loves writing for them and has hopes that they too will someday enjoy writing and maybe even publishing books as well. Dreams do come true.
