Biography :
Robert White is Founder and Chairman of Extraordinary People, a company working with professionals to develop extraordinary leadership skills, focus, alignment, and commitment.
Robert’s experience encompasses over thirty years in the success education industry. He was President of personal growth seminar pioneer Mind Dynamics and founder and President of Lifespring, Inc. He founded and served as Chairman of ARC International from 1978-2001 and worked closely with its corporate and individual clients throughout Asia, South America, Europe and North America. ARC International graduated over 500,000 participants from high impact experiential seminars and served over 1000 corporations.
He served as a Vice President of the Instructional Systems Association, Regional Vice Chairman of the Pacific Basin Economic Council and a Member of the Board of Governors of the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan. Robert was elected a Fellow of The World Business Academy in 1999. The World Scout Foundation honored Robert as a Baden Powell Fellow; he is co author of the photo essay book, One World, One People; and author of Living an Extraordinary Life. Nightingale Conant also published an audio home-study adaptation of Robert’s book.
Robert actively supports the Sarvodaya community development organization in Sri Lanka, The Kempe Center for Child Abuse and Neglect and The Adoption Exchange. He also serves on the Boards of Plant-It 2020 and The Desmond Tutu Peace Foundation. Robert founded non-profit One World, One People Foundations in the USA, Japan and Hong Kong with a focus on supporting charities doing environmental education and those working to end child abuse and neglect.
Helping others to develop extraordinary personal leadership abilities, capacity and effectiveness is Robert’s personal mission. His other interests include current events, reading history and philosophy, being with his eight children and enjoying many styles of live music.
