Biography :
Pete Klein was born and raised in Detroit, Mich. where he attended Notre Dame High, Harper Woods. After high school, Pete joined the US Navy and served as a Corpsman in New Port, RI, and Long Beach, CA. After receiving an Honorable Discharge, it was back to Detroit for a year before moving to NYC to attend The American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Klein says, "I lived in New York at the right time (mid 60's) in the Lower East Side (East Village) and enjoyed discovering the city and myself. In 1968 Klein married. In 71 he moved upstate where he raised his family and worked in the automotive aftermarket as a manufacturer's rep, traveling all of upstate NY. Then it was back down to the city for a few years as the sales manager for a firm importing automotive parts and accessories from the Far East. Missing the country life, Klein moved the family back upstate to the Adirondacks. Klein has been living in the Adirondacks for the past 24 years and has been a reporter for the Hamilton County Express for the past ten years. It was going to work as a reporter that finally moved him to return to his early dream of writing books. Having written two vampire novels and an outdoor hiking guide, Klein decided to write a Novella before returning to his third novel in the vampire series, a work now back in progress.
Book Review :
I wasn't sure what to expect when I started reading Confessions of an Online Male Prostitute. The title intrigued me and since I'm open-minded, and write erotica, nothing the author wrote would shock me. I was hoping for kinky and the story provides kinky scenes. But what I found as I read was a heart felt account of a man who stayed in a sexless marriage for many years, who longed for attention and who was faithful until one certain night.
John, the main character, is a very caring person. The events which lead him in his journey to find himself will have you turning the pages to find out if he does indeed find happiness.
I highly recommend reading Peter Klein's novel, especially if you as the reader are also on an individual journey seeking the truth. By Brenda Woody
